IRS Form 1722

I can't find IRS form 1722 on IRS website, instead I find 4506T tax transcript request form.

Has anyone successfully ordered form 1722? How?

I have used 4506T form to request transcipts from IRS and it took little more than 2 weeks to get the records. they provide one page for each tax year you request and one cover letter that says, "Dear taxpayer, We are sending you tax return transcripts you have requested.....". The document does not have any stamp and I don't see any form number, however it uses their letterhead. Hopefully this will suffice.

I have recently submitted N400 and preparing for the process.

Read this: (IRS Instructions)
"General Instructions
Purpose of form. Use Form 4506-T to request tax return information. You can also designate a third party to receive the
information. See line 5.
Tip. Use Form 4506, Request for Copy of Tax Return, to request copies of tax returns."

I called IRS to get the copies of my tax return. Some people use Form 4506 to get the same information. Good luck.
