Inviting parents and brother to US

Hello-

I am planning to invite my parents and one of my brothers on a visitor visa to US. My brother whom I am planning on inviting to US is 21 years old and currently he is attending open university classes in India.

My other brother is working for a MNC in India.

Both my parents own companies back in India. I have scheduled a visa interview appointment for my parents and brother. Our Travel consultant back in India is advicing us to remove my brother's name from the visa Interview application.

He is concerned that there are chances that both my parents and brother getting their visas refused by including my brother in the application.

I would like to know if anybody has been in a similar situation before and if so, I would really appreciate if you could share your experience.

I welcome any comments or advice on how to handle this.

Thanks for your time!

I've heard similar things ....

Typically they deny college going students. One of my friend's sister visa was refused (she was doing her B.E degree - 2nd yr I think).

And one more guy - who was in his first year of college.

Maybe this consultant has seen even more cases than we have and is advising based on that ?!?
