I plan to invite my parents to the US during this summer, and will thus be sending them required supporting documentation soon. I am currently working here on OPT. I expect that I may take up new employment and move sometime over the next 2-3 months.
My concern is as follows:
If they go for the visa interview while I am in my current job/location, then evidently my address/job details will be those of my current one. However, when they visit the US, these may have changed. Can this cause them any problems at the port-of-entry, if the city/address they are staying at is different from what was in the visa application? Or is it OK, since the immigration officials can always verify my latest information in SEVIS? Would it be best to clarify in the invitation letter I send that they will be staying at whatever is my current address during their visit, which may potentially change?
I would appreciate any information.
