Intrim EAD?

Friends,

My EAD is going to expire on May 17th. 2003, I have applied for renewal , My EAD renewal RD is: Jan 02, 2003 and ND is : Jan 03, 2003. Since I have applied my 485 IN CSC, i am working as a contractor in Michigan. I am planning to go for Intrim EAD. can i able to go DETROIT (Local ins office) or do i need to go in California?. Please adivse. What are needed for intrim EAD?

All GC processing from CSC. 485 filed in CSC while residence in NJ.
For EAD-renewal applied in November 02 at CSC. In feb 03 went for interim EAD at newark. Interim EAD issued by Newark, Local INS office.

Probably one week prior to your current EAD expiration you may want to try and get an interim EAD. Ensure 90 day rule. Interim EAD issued if EAD applied prior to 90 days.
I carried I-140 receipts, 485 receipts, Renewal EAD receipts for interim EAD.
