Intrim EAD question.. Pls respond.

Hello everyone,

My wife has the receipt for EAD dated 12/24/03. Can someone please confirm if she can go to local INS office and get her Intrim EAD( over 90 day period) , If yes what all documents does she needs to bring it to the office?

1. Her Reciept you got when u filed I-765.

1A. The application (I-765) you filled, when you orifinally filed (even if this is not available to you, you can fill one in local INS.

2. Her and Your I-485 receipts.

3. Photo ID (Drivers Lic or Passport).

Please make sure that she takes all the previously approved EADs.

These EADs will have to be surrendered to the INS before she receives her new interim EAD.

Count of 90 days starts from the RD of the EAD renewal application , Provided there is no RFE issued on the EAD renewal. If a RFE is issued the 90 days starts from the RFE date.

Also 90 days is counted as calendar weekdays and not as working days.
 
I have the same RD as your wife's. I got my interim EAD a week ago. Take all documents as mentioned in other posts, but I don't think you have to surrender your old EAD (or her EADs), at least in my case, they returned my old EAD and every other document, except the EAD application form.
