Interview Yesterday

Hi guys,
quick question: I had my interview yesterday, and received an email today saying: On January 21, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appropriate appellate body for review. They will notify you directly when they make a final decision.

Anyone has any idea what does that mean? Am i approved or not? The 485 status hasn't changed.

was the email regarding the i-130?

this is the 1st time i hear about this type of message (though apparently USCIS is starting to do a bunch of new things).

My guess is, the officer who interviewed you did not have enough authority to approve the case, but has sent it to his/her supervisor with intention to get it approved.
