I have an interview tomorrow at the local office and i have everything they could possibly need except of "advanced parole". I can't find it anywhere and i'm still looking. I had applied for travel document last year and i was told by the customer service to apply for both RTD and Advanced Parole, i paid another $165 to get the stupid thing even though i didn't need it and when i did my search on here i found out i only needed the RTD, so i immediately sent a letter to the TSC and told them I DO NOT NEED THE ADVANCED PAROLE (i still have a copy of this letter). I asked them if i can withdraw the application for the AP, but they did send me RTD and AP anyways. Now i don't have a national passport neither do i have the intention to obtain one and i can't find the AP, and my RTD is expired but has all the stamps on it from the trip to Europe that i made last year. My question now is if i can't find my AP what are my options?

ps: I DID NOT use the AP.

i appreciate all the quick replies.

dont worry

my wife didan interview at san francisco local office after her i 485 case transferred from texas center,

the questions are very simple, about whats your job, how long you are working there, the address of your work, did you stay more than one month
in a single trip outside usa, and other simple questions from the i 485 application,

the interview lasted 10 minutes, the officer approved my wife case, stamped her passport, after 2 weeks got her green card,

the officer did not ask my wife about her RTD, he did not evn mention ant travel document,

i doubt the officer will asky you about your AP

For your interview, get all the documents you need; e.x. marriage documents whether married or divorced, particularly if you are divorced you must have divorce document, birth certificate, asylum opproval letter, I-94; any document you may have....Also remember in some cases if you don't have passport or birth certificate, and the interviewing officer asks for one, do not panic, you don't have to produce a birth certificate or passport from your country of origin. All you will need is to get two elder people from your country, take them to public notary service, have them sign an affidifit stating that they know you that you were born where you were born. Your relatives can sign this affidivit. As far as interview goes, what they really want is you see you and your circumstance. they won't ask you why you want greencard or how your family was persecuted, nor your brothers and sisters, but they will be very brief and easy...your name, what you do for life, your address, make sure the address on your ID and the one they have on file match...In short you have nothing to worry..in case if there are some missing documents, the interviewing officer will give a list of the missing documents and timeframe in which you can bring them....so don't worry and just feel good about the fact that you are gonna have your approval tomorrow....and consider the AP irrelevant...good luck...

Asylee01, how did it go? I remember myself being confused and i was kind of freaking out, knowing that it's a rear thing for an asylee to get the "invitation" to the interview and described process from differen sourses along with this forum was a lot of help.
