Well i found this Forum today and i wish i had found this when i first arrived in the USA in August 2001 from the UK. Well its finally here after nearly 5 years, my Citizenship interview tomorrow. I have taxes, pasports, marriage certificates, previous divorce papers, photographs, adoption paperwork (my wife and i adopted a baby from China last year) and i think i am ready. my wife cannot go with me due to work and childcare, and the letter does not specify that my wife has to be with me and i called the helpline and they said if her name does not apear on the letter then she does not have to attend. Anyone been to the Dalls Office on Stemmons recently give me any good pointers. What is the average time of the Interview ? Any off the wall paperwork they ask for ? Do they give you the choice of a civic ceremony or do it there and then in the office ? i have also heard that dual citizenship is not the norm, but it can be done, anyone had experience of this ?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
