Interview Successful BUT Visa Lost In Mail and cant be recovered

My interview was successful and IV Vissa issued and posted via Xpresspost from Montreal Consulate to Vancouver yesterday and I tracked the item that now says successfully delivered to Receiver, However, I didnot receive it.

Inquirires with Canada Post leads to a wild goos chase as they say it was to delivered to my adress. There seems to be no way now to get the package that had the Visa, POE forms and my passports.

What can I do now to have the lost one cancelled and new one issued other then making a new passport.
 
Sorry to hear of your situation.

1. Have you asked to see WHO signed for the package? There must be a name somewhere. Also: the van and driver who delivered your package can be tracked and they may remember where they delivered it.

2. The package could be returned to the Embassy when the person who received it realises the error.

3. Let the Embassy know, but would you not wait a moment before cancelling everything? My feeling is, if it is returned you would save yourself having to start with new documents.

3. These couriers have a contract with the Embassy, let the Embassy know for this reason also.

4. Ask your neighbours if they've signed for a package.
