Interview soon

Hi

We have our interview for canadian immigration in Jan at LA.

My questions are:

Would they tell us the interview decision then and there?

What are the steps after the interview?

Also my H1 was approved on 16th Jan 2004 and I started my project on feb 16th. I wasn't paid for that one month.

Will that be considered as "Have your ever been in a "no-job no-salary" kind of situation?" if yes, how do I justify that?

I would appreciate if someone can answer my questions.

Thanks

Yes they will tell you if you qualify.

I hope you have done your medical exam. If not then do it NOW. Also take PCC from FBI and home country and any documents requested by them. I also suggest that you pay ROLF during the interview. If everything is Ok you should get passport request in a couple of months.

No problems there. They know a lot of people work on project basis. As long as you tell the truth you are ok.

Suggestion: Please give precise and short answers to what the visa officer is asking. DO NOT give additional information from your side.
Example if the visa officer asks for yous W2 just give it to him/her dont start explaining why you did not get paid for a month.

Hi Kenny

Thanks for your reply.
We had done our medicals in May 2003, which are by now expired. so I do not know how they will proceed on that.
PCC and FBI are on its way, I hope we get them in time. we have less than 15 days now.
ROLF was paid with the application back in dec 2001.

I thought they would take the passports on the same day if we qualify.

Yes I will be precise. As the days come near, we are getting nervous.

Appreciate all your advice.

Thanks
