Interview Questions and Procedures for Asylum application - Info needed ASAP.

There is a pastor and his wife that came on a B1 visa for a program. They are from Nigeria. Because of the turmoil and killings of pastors, burning churches, and killing of Christians they are trying to apply for asylum here in U.S. They are staying with me now and I am a Naturalized Citizen.

Can anyone give us some advice of what may be asked at the interview? We have lots of documentation about the killings and church burnings in Nigeria. What else should we prepare?

Any help you can give will be appreciated.

Most the questions the IO will asking in the interview always come from your application come from your store,so you should know your case with any details any questions any events dates...
when you try to answer the question,try your best to make it simple,yes or no always the best answer,never smile to IO you need to show your fear to IO ,coz you need US government portection you need show your well-founded fear.

It's little complicated when a person claim a fear of persecution by someone other that the Government forces but He can prevail if he can prove that he will suffer persecution by political zealots or religious groups that his home country’s government is unable or unwilling to control, and also he must be ready to answer a common question which is why he couldn't live in different part of his country(like southern Nigeria). did he have an attorney? if no he better find a good one.Good luck
