Dear friends,

      I am in USA . I am a software programmer.And applied for CANADA IMMIGRATION. I received a call letter to attend an interview.It is scheduled in the next month.One question is worrying me. What I should
say and convince the VISA officer if he asks me " WHY DO YOU WANT TO IMMIGRATE TO CANADA BEING IN USA? ( YOU ARE MAKING GOOD MONEY..YOU CAN APPLY FOR GC IN USA"...etc..
I am on H1-VISA. I am married(no kids ).

Could any one can help me in answering this question? Please.....

Try these:
- Basic insurance coverage for Canadian residents are good - this helps in case you are laid-off from youer curent job, where as in the US, u pay out of your pocket for the same if u lose your job.
- In the US, GC processing is Employer based,and takes about 3 yrs. This restricts your career growth.
- UN rates Canada as the best place to live.
Get other opinions also, especially from cuurent Canadian residents...
