Hi all.. I have a question about the interview...does the officer ask about every single line of the application? that would get really annoying... i mean.. basic info i would understand (like, name , date of birth.. wife name, date of birth, marriage dates, kids, etc...), but things like.. all the places i have lived in the past 5 years, or places i worked in the last 5 years..i don't know by heart, we moved around a lot, i mean it took me research to find some of that info, even my wife couldn't remember all the places we lived a long time ago.. ... .. I guess what I am asking is.. are the question going to be like: what is your current address now?.. where did you live before that, where did you live before that.. etc.. I hope it won't be of that nature coz i won't know some of the answers on top of my head....thanks for reading :)

You can take your application form's copy to the interview. I don't think IO will get upset if you refer to the application form copy before anwering. That's what I am planning to do.

ah ok.. well then, no issue, i taught their whole purpose was to trick you and verify if you knew all these facts by heart :)

The main purpose of going through the questions in the interview is to double-check them with you in case you made a mistake and need to make corrections, or to get a new answer from you if anything changed since you submitted the application (like change of address or getting married or traveling overseas).
