Hello all

I have my interview coming up in a while. My question is this: Do they go through your passport in detail especially the travel dates stamped in your passport? I travel and would like to know this ahead of time.

Thanks for any help.

from what i read other posts, yes, they do go over your passport stampes and match with the info on your n400 form.

Can some folks please confirm if a missing arrival stamp at Port of Entry in USA is a cause of any concern. My departure / arrival record in home country are pretty clear.

but you do have the stamp on your passport for coming back to US right?
do you have any credit card statements to show you used to purchase ticket? freq flyer miles? ticket stub? anything?

i do not have the stamps on my passport when i arrive and leave from my home country. i do not even have to show my passport at the custom in my home country airport. all i need to show them is my PR card.

kash,

it's no big deal. my husbands passport was missing the arrival ie entry stamp to US. we have frequent flyer membership so we took the info from the airline site but they did not ask for that in interview. they just generally check whether u fulfilled the time requirement. that's all. they never went thru a fine comb for us. we had total out of country for 390 days.

thanks
