Thank you everyone for the help on this forum.I have a question.

Once you apply for the citizenship when do the officers calculate the days outside the united states and the continous residence requirment. Do they do it during the interview process or before that?
 
I dont think they do it before. From people experience, it seems they review it during the interview and then decide what they want to do. They either accept your calculations on the application or use result of " decision can not be made right now" After that they can calculate, request detail travel records, etc.
From people experience it seems very few officers even look at the application before the interview.
