HI !!case transferred to SJ INS on 28th Feb...got Interview date today ie. 4th April ,interview scheduled for 28th of May.....now a question for the people who\'ve been thru the interviews....

 does anyone know what does"Petitioner and all other Beneficiary(s) must be persent" mean?? Who\'s is the "petitioner" and who is the "beneficiary"?? Does it mean that the employer needs to be there aswell....I havent heard that before....I am single ,not married ,no kids???
 It also says that bring "A current Letter of Employment for you,The Petitioner and the Co_sponsor(salary,startdate,and position)"......what does this mean??
I\'m still confused about the PETITIONER AND BENEFICIARY.?? WHOS\'S WHO?

Anyone any input??

Of Course I am guessing

The GC application is a request by your company who petitions that
they require a person of your skill and request that a Green card be granted to you (the benificiary)

On the I-485 notice it states very clearly that
Notice type - Receipt Notice and
Section - Adjustment as direct benificiary of immigrant petition

Therefore I guess that You are the benificiary and the petitioner
is Your company

I think that it is very important - repeat very important that a
competent lawyer attends your interview.

It is better to pay some money and get this over with at the first interview. The case should be completed at that time. It all hinges now on the questions and answers (The Lawyers presence will decrease the number of unnecessary questions and also he/she will answer sticky questions.)

your lawyer is authorised properly to represent your company

thanks for your advice..i\'m going to talk to my Lawyer today....i\'m still not clear ...does that mean that the employer will have to go or the lawyer who represents the employer?? who\'s "co sponsor\'s" ??
