Interview passed in Phoenix

The (senior) officer was professional, yet polite and respectful. The interview was video-taped. It lasted an hour (yes, 60+ minutes!), I guess that was mainly because of the 'sworn statment' that was required of me - courtesy a charge of "Reckless Driving" (four years ago). The 'statement' required as many as three revisions. (I'm thankful for the officer's patience as I nit picked! :-)
It was almost as if I had my day in court - to describe what really happened. (For those of you interested to know, I was just speeding - I did not see the DPS car ahead of me, and 3 lanes inside. The act of passing his car infuriated the officer's ego. Without a doubt, he was an overzealous officer, too! (Ask yourself, what kind of man would reveal "240+ YTD arrests", and "800+ since coming to AZ"?)

I was APPROVED rightaway - notwithstanding the arrest record, et al.

I was informed that I could yet make it to the Nov. 20th ceremony, if not the one after the week of Thanksgiving.

My sincere thanks to the many good folks on this forum.

My experience, "Honesty is the best policy" - just be upfront, and nobody will then question you. (I was not even asked for my passport, or a single document - besides my DL, and Alien Resident card)

Minor Traffic (Civil) tickets: Do not even mention them on your N-400 (if fine paid is less than $500) - USCIS is not interested!

Good luck to all that are awaiting their turn - success is almost guaranteed (if you're eligible)!

Congrats..
So it is my turn on the 16th for interview..

Thank you, Phx.

Parking is available @ a flat rate of $5, just beside the office (entrance being from the S side - right on Central Ave.)

Relax, take it easy - the interview is no big deal. Just read up on the History/Civics q's.
