Hi there,

I received my interview notice today, with an appointment for July 12 in Portland, Oregon.

The appointment letter only indicates I must bring the green card, passport, SSR, and appointment letter. It doesn't mention anything about bringing evidence of paid speeding tickets or IRS tax forms. Could someone let me know if this is normal? I'm applying as LPR + 5 years (no thru marriage or military service).

Any comments will be most appreciated.

i think they have the standard letter template to send out.

however, if i were you, i would bring along all evidences, (tickets / tax transcripts) just in case if they ask. you have come to this stage so far, you do not want to get screwed. i do not think i want to argue / blame on them about the letter did not mention such and such documents and my interview got screwed. better prepare than sorry.

however, you might still have time to apply the tax transcripts from IRS. tax forms just show you intended to file the tax. tax transcripts show you have already filed / paid / received tax from/to IRS.
