My passport is issued from Lucknow, UP. My H1-B was stamped done from Chennai consulate. NVC has sent my case to Chennai and my CP will be there only.

Question:
Are there any possible issues with this possible issues that any one in the forum can see :confused: with the fact that my passport was issued from Lucknow and interview is in Chennai. My lawyer here says it is fine. I am not so sure. I have heard that there may be issues. If it is problem what should I do?

Don't worry

Your consulate destination will be determined based on your last known address in India. Once Chennai accepts your case and schedule an interview, they won't ask you to go to Delhi.;)
