Interview in Nigeria

hi all,

I will appreciate if some of older members who had their CP in nigeria can please give me an insight.
How long from the day of successful interview, did it take for you to get your passport back.
A friend told me the passport will be with the lagos embassy for 1 month. is this true?
this is a cause of concern to me as I have to travel to nigeria for the interview and will love to return to my base immidiately.

Yes, It's possible, a friend of mine got his back after 1 month, i think it's bcos his interview was earlier. If you have your interview earlier in the year let's say between Oct - March, the embassy may take 1 month to return your passport but mine was in July and it took 1 week for me to collect my passport back from the embassy. I think it depends on when you have your interview.
