We had our interview yesterday and got approved and stamped on my passport.
Just a brief history first about my case.
Applied 130,485,AP and EAD on July 13 2006.
Received EAD and AP on Oct 13.
Interview Date Nov 21. Approved.
Our time was 8:00AM but we were late and was there by 8:15AM. Went to 13th floor where our lawyer was already there and already handed over our appointment letter to the window. About 15 minutes later our names were called and asked to come to door and a young guy took us to his cube and had an oath first.
Then he asked for my passport and our IDs. He took all my I94 from passport.
and then asked the following question to me.
- when did you married.
- How did you meet .
- How long did you know each other before marriage.
- where was the marriage took place, was it a town hall.
- Was there any party after marriage.
- Where do you live.
- Who is living with you.
Then he asked my wife
- What's your husband occupation.
- Where does he work.
- Where he worked before this place.
- What was the job in previous place.
- When did he come to US.
- On what visa.
- What's your husbands parent's name.
- Where he lived before marriage.
Then he asked me
- Where does your wife work.
- On what status she came to US.
- Who applied for her.
- What's her parents name.
- What her address before marriage.
Then he asked some photos with family. I took my wedding album with me and he looked through the whole album.
Then he read out some general question from the paper which i said NO to all of them like if ever committed a crime or if was ever illegal in this country.
Then he asked for my EAD and took it and said that he is going to approve my case and going to stamp my passport which is good for work and traveling. and i'll get a welcome letter within 2 weeks and Then he stamped my passport.
What a relief. I know there are so many people stuck in name check process and i was also very concern about that but thanks GOD.
Checked my online status this morning and they already mailed my welcome letter today.
Good luck to all of you going for the interview.
