my brother married to us citizen girl in 2004.he went for greencard interview in september 2006 in islamabad pakistan. they asked some simple questions and took his passport and said that additional processing is required. they told him that whenever his passport is ready, he will be contacted by embassey. on 22 nd of january 2007 he received a call from some one who said that he is calling from us embassey islamabad and they told him that they issuing a visa for him and he has to travel before 31st march 2007,and they also told him that he can collect his passport after 8 days from lahore office.
today is 16 of feb ,almost 25 days have passed ,he called many times to lahore office but they said we didnt receive anything fron islamabad,and when he call islamabad no body picks up the phone.
now at this stage we have started thinking that if that call was sort of prank call or was someone joking with him.......if any one has or had the same situation please share your experience....thanks
