Interview in a few days

My case was moved from TSC to Atlanta in August.

My lawyer's secretary called me today. She said that the Atlanta BCIS officer hadnling my case called her and asked me and my wife to come down for an interview in a few days. She said that the officer will give us our fingerprint notices at that time.

My online status has still not been changed.

Has anyone had any experience like this?
 
I am in limbo with ATL

Mine was transferred to ATL last December 2003. RD is 08/2002. Many folks with RD 08/2002 and 09/2002 have received Interview notices. However, I haven't received mine, yet. My attorney did not receive any notices too.

From your posting, I guess, I may receive a 'telephone call' within 'few' (few means????) days as well. I am not sure what to do in this state of limbo. Usually ATL doesn't overlook the queue. I am not sure, why I am not called for interview yet.

I know the date of interview. I did not want to reveal it here.

My lawyer told me that the ATL USCIS office is desperate to clear backlogs.

Would you mind sharing it with me in person at poongunranar@yahoo.com ? I haven't received notices or calls. Do you mean to say that they called your Lawyer/Secretary and told her that your date is 10/__ /2004 and that you are supposed to come? Being a June 2002 filer, could you say when you received the call? Today? Yesterday???? Thanks in advance.
