Dear All,
I am so pleased that my interview is scheduled in 15th of July 2010.. I need your help, about interview questions. And your advise. Since the main applicant is my wife, and we are from Sudan.

Hi,
we did our interview in Cairo.
It went well with my wife but regarding my case its pending now administrative processing, they asked me to send my CV. I send it 5 days ago. is this normal.
they take my wife passport for visa stamp. they said to me that we will ask you later to send your Passport.

Please let me know is this a normal process.

Hello hisham I think I read your wife interview experience in an Arabic forum, you are working GIS just like me, any way are you the primary applicant or your wife? I think they will tell you to send your passport soon, no worries

Hello Hisham, I am very sure that you will have your Visa soon, because they are not crazy to give your wife alone, so don't worry they will call you in few days I guess, and I think they want to ask about GIS because it seems that the counselor never heard about it which also shocked me, any way I am currently in Jeddah and my interview will be on 4th of Sept, but for your case no worries you will get it soon and be happy

Congrats for your successful interview and as firo1234 said you will get the visa to accompany your wife to USA very sooon "inshallah".
I'm also from Sudan, my wife won the 2011 as principal applicant...could you please let me know about the needed documents for Sudanese - such as police certificate from Sudan, birth certificate, and others.
I'm a little bet worry about one thing!!, in the form DS 230, I wrote Khartoum as place of birth for my wife while it was "Omdurman" in her passport - do you think we need to re-submit the form as to change this info - bear in mind that Omdurman is a part of Khartoum capital??

Dear Altaif,
Congrats, Its not a problem, just prepare the following docs for every persons of child:
Birth Certificate ( English)
Universities Certificate:
Marriage Certificate (English)

don't forget to authorized all the documents. then you will need Police certificate, but not now, because its validity is 3 month only... do it when you receive the second notification letter. and of course you will need to make Medical exam...

I wish you get visa to USA

Good luck to all of you. Does the sudanese secondry school certificate is enugh for the dv lottery? and how long it take in cairo to recieve the visa?
My wife will have her interview in Cairo (hope khartoum will open for dv 2011) and her number is 2011AF0003xxx

Thank you for your wishing, I believe secondary school certificate would be enough as kcc minimum requirement for qualification...and yes if we could use Khartoum embassy for 2011 interview that would be great for us as it will save us a lot of money.

My wife received her passport stamped with Visa and yellow envelope. and My Case is still pending administrative processing.
