interview i485

i am application for adjustment status my husband is a citizen looking at the processing date of my local cis office i see that they are processing application with receipt date a month after my receipt date i have not get any notice for interview etc call the national customer service number and if only has my fingerprint information which was about 8 months ago my question are .1)is that processing date the date of interview ? or is it the date they start working on my application if its the former is there any reason i have not get interview call yet and if the litter case when can i expect a litter call me for an interview ?also what the process for the i485 what are the step the application has to go thouh between the m starting to processing the application and me getting an interview notice or is interview the next step after they start processing the i485
