Interview for I-140?

Filed concurrently I140,I1485 Aug 03.

Recently I-485 has been sent to local office for scheduling interview.
Based on local office interview tracker it should be 3 weeks or so to
get the inteview scheduled.

But, apprently my I-140 is not approved (actually not activity what so
ever since filing).

Now, not sure what will happen if I-140 is pending and inteview is schedule?
Or if the inteview is also inclusive of I-140 if scheduled?

any thoughts?

I have seen couple of cases in this forum where I140 has been cleared and approval not sent. If that is the case, your I485 would be still approved.

I-140 transferred to local office

I got a reply from CSC that my I-140 has been transferred to local
office. They have asked to make an INFOPASS appointment.

Questions:

1) Is infopass only for Information or do they process the case when we
visit them?

2) Usually I hear I-485 getting transferred to local office to schedule interview, never heard of I-140 transferred to local office. Is it possible I need an interview for I-140 too.

Isn't I-140 basically an application from the employer? Little to do with the
candidate.
