Interview for employment based I-485?

Does anyone know whether Employment based I-485 Applications have to go through an interview or are they exempt from it?

Not all of employment based applicants can waive interviews.
In many cases, we don't need to take an interview.
The exemption is not just 100 % guaranteed.

You see transferred cases to local offices at other threads in this forum. Please check them. I hope you'll get more useful info there.
