Interview for EAD? Please help

Guys,

I recently filed to renew mine and my wifes EADs at TSC and just got an email saying that the case has been transferred to Miami for them to conduct our interviews. Do they interview people for EADs? I am from ATL and my concurrent 140/485 application was transferred to Miami in June of 2004. Thinking that this was an error, my laywer filed AILA inquiries in Novemeber and in December I got FP notices from TSC. This made me think that the cases were back in TSC. Yesterday I got emails saying that they have transferred our EAD apps to Miami for them to conduct our interview. I am not sure what is going on here. If any of you have any information on this please let me know.

You will have to go get an Interim EAD. Yes, if your file is transferred to local-office (I-485) subsequently most applications get transferred automatically. Yes, it says that they will conduct interviews. But mostly, when they take up the file, they see that your main file in I-485 is pending and so they approve other applications like I-131 and I-765.
