Today was my interview for I485 in local office. Went to the local office 10 mins early and they called me 20 mins later.
The interview lasted for 15 mins or so. The questions were very straight forward. The interviewing officer asked me where I worked and the details of the job. Then she asked for the Employer letter. Then saw my wife's and my passport. Asked us to give finger prints again, saying our finger prints have expired.
Then she was entering something into her system. And said they will get back to us. At this point I was in a panic mode. I asked her if everything was ok with my case. Said she cannot adjudicate my case now, but said everything is ok so far.
Came home heavy hearted, Not knowing how long this wait is to continue.
