I have an interview next week. this is the question asked in the interview letter and my attorney's format as below: "A current letter of employment showing rate of pay, when employment began and hours worked per week" I worked for sponsoring employer in atlanta and i moved to detroit for the same company but different branch office 1 1/2 ago. Please let me know if this is correct or I need to change it. thanks a lot.
My attorney's format: This letter is written to verify that the position of IT Manager which Kannel currently occupies is still open and available to
him. He continues to be employed in the same profession as he held with XY company, his original I-140 petitioning employer.

We would appreciate anything you can do to finalize Mr. Kannel's approval
as quickly as possible, as he is a key member of our team. Thank you for
your assistance.

Please help me out.. thanks.

I didnt understand the issue. if you are working for the same employer, just get the fact stated as "kannel is working for the same employer...." wouldnt that be better than "same profession".
Just my 2 c.

I think your attorney has shown you the standard format of employer's letter for "future employment". Remember employment based GC is for future employment. In that sense, your attorey's letter is correct. But as I mentioned, this letter is for confirmation of future employment. This is not a "present employment varification" letter. I believe CIS asked for the later one. In this case, you can provide two letters - one for confirmation of future employment (attorney's suggestion) and another for present employment varification letter ("ag28" already suggested in previous posting).
