Hi every one.I had my interview done today no problems at all.Very nice officer very freindly.Regular 6 questions out of 100.Quickly went over N-400 application.She told me that u have passed the interview and i am issuing u oath letter now. At that point I reminded her that my wife had interview done on Feb 18th but no OL.She was kind enough and said let me check.She came back and said my staff is looking for her file.I said ok. Meanwhile she asked me to sign the pictures and the N-400.She went outside once more and came back with my wife's file.She said she was approved since Feb 23rd I wonder why the OL was not issued.Any way I will issue her a OL with u. Then she printed 2 OL one for me and another for my wife for April 1st.She came out of the office and explain to me and my wife about the oath procedure.She chatted with my 2 yr old son.Then she saids good bye and thanks for coming. We thanked her as well.
Over all very good expeience. Thanks to all the members of the forum which help from day one in every respect. Good Luck to every one.

I am glad everything went well. Congratulations.

I am worry about my situation since it was very similar to your wife case. My 5 yr Anniversary will be next week on Tuesday (March 16th). And the Oath I want to attend is March 24th. So it is a short time to get the oath letter send to me. In your wife's case almost 3 weeks after interview and not letter. The only choice I have is to call on Tuesday (03-16) and see if they can send it right away but I doubt it.

Anyway, congrats again and enjoy.

Became a proud US citizen today at Newark. My journey in US was for 14+ years. The N-400 was submitted in Nov 23, 2009 and culminated today.

The experience was very nice today and will update it shortly.
