Hi All,

My wife had her interview on 09/12/2007 @ 1:25 PM @ Atlanta DO. After sucessfully completing her Citizenship interview she got "Congratulations...your case is recomended for approval" letter. As Atlanta DO has cut off time of 1:00 PM (Atlanta DO conducts same day oath @ 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM) for the afternoon oath ceremony, the DO told her that she'll get her oath letter in mail.

Alter almost 3 week still no oath letter. Is anyone had or know this kind of situation. Please let us know your experience.

Thanks,
NSV

My wife's oath ceremony letter came like 1 month and a half after her interview..
They ussualy wait for certain amount of people to do a ceremony... Be patience!! and congrats to your wife!

I just received my Oath Letter yesterday and it was mailed by the (Nebraska) Service Center. Since the Texas Service Center is working on a massive number of applications, this may delay other routine activities such as scheduling Oath ceremonies. Also, if the Atlanta DO is planning to have a larger ceremony in October, the Service Center may be waiting to send out a larger batch of letters.

Interesting, I used to think Oath letters come from the local office?

What about others on this forum? Where did you oath letter originate?
