Hi all,

My interview is next month in the Charlotte office. They are not asking much from me (I am the main applicant) only photos and Employment letter. but they are asking a bunch of documents from my wife like:

1. Bank statements (married years).
2. Auto/Medical insurance (married years)
3. Tax returns (married years)
Does this mean we have to provide tax returns for every year since we were married? and teh same for other documents listed above? also they are asking for SS card, why is that? why do they need to see the social security card?
would somebody share their experience/input on this?

Thanks,
Spartakus

Spartakus,

I'm going with an pessimistic mind. I'm not sure if I will get my passport stamped, because of the retrogression. Coz, they MAY not have a visa number.

There are 50-50 chances

1. They may have a visa number and stamp the passport, as our cases have been transfered before retrogression.

2. They may just process the case, and give a verbal confirmation that they are approving the case, and let me know when the visa number is available to come in to get the passport stamped.

There is one more guy in this forum who has an interview on the same day as mine. He is aware of this situtation.

Hi GC-4-all

Is your case EB3? if that is the case then yes taht may be an issue but hopefully they will approve your case.
One more question please: my old lawyer told me when my case was transferred that you can get an idea why (if there is a reason) they transferred your case by looking at the list of docs they ask for the interview, is that true? did your lawyer say something to this effect?

Thanks,
Spartakus
