Hi everybody.
I recently filed my N-400 naturalization form. I see they ask for GC, DL and probably all prior passport during interview.
My last passport has expired and I currently do not have an active passport from my home country.I have not left even one day from the US since I came here 7 years ago. I got my green card 5 years ago.
I went to Turkish embassy and they took my old passport and did not give me a new one. They said I have to go to Turkey to get a new passport. I do not feel safe to go there due to political reasons. Some of my friend had similar issues and when they went there they could not come back as they were not given their passport.
For now, I have all other documents except my last passport ( I have a copy of it though ). I only used that passport when I came here 7 years ago. I can proof with I-94 travel document that I have never left from country.
Will this be a problem for me during interview ? And how should I explain.
Any recommendation ?
