Folks,

My FP is done 12/10/02 and since then I did not receive any notification from BCIS. I have applied from Boston and would like to know the status of my application. The telephone number that they have given (802) 527 4913 is perinnially busy. I have tried few times and I never got through. Is there any other way to get them to answer questions. Do they answer questions via email for example? Thanks.
 
APM...the interview letter can take anywhere from 4 to 12 months depending on which place you live. The fingerprinting typically takes 6 weeks to get cleared. Following that the service center would schedule your interview based on the availability at your local district office.

The number you need to call is always busy. Keep on redialing until you get through. Persistence is the keyword. I think Boston typically process naturalization application quickly (in a relative term). I am from Cleveland and it took me 4.5 months to get fingerprinted.
