My friend is in a dilemma and I was hoping for input from anybody who could advice us.
The synopsis are he has a 10 year Green Card based on his marriage to a US citizen and he applied for naturalization 90 days prior to the 3rd anniversary of green card. The process of applying went through smoothly and he has his interview coming up on 21/07/2011. The problem is that on date of his interview he will still be 17 days short of the 3rd Anniversary of green card, in order words he will NOT had met the three year requirement.
I have heard arguments that his application will be denied if he goes for the interview, is this true??? What other options are available short of having to put in a new N-400 application?
