Interview cases approved at baltimore

Just now one of my friend called and said his I -485 was approved after taking a 10 min formal interview. The INS got back the EAD and I-94.Enjoy baltimore friends.RD is 12/**/01.

Baltimore Transfer guys are lucky..

It used to be transfer of a case to local INS office is the worst thing to happen to anyone's case but now everybody(including me) must be praying to get a transfer to local office and get interiview ASAP by looking at the transfer cases....Because March 02 cases also transferred and will get approval very soon compared to some of the regular Sept 2001 cases for sure now....

About an year ago I485 process was taking anywhere between 8-12 months now these limits have been changed to 12-14 months and don't know what is in store few months down the line....

In any case INS is getting little better with two recent gimmics of Parallel application of I40 & I485 and Transferring cases to Local offices to reduce work load... Don't know what is in store in the near future...
