Interview but no Green Card

hey all,
so I was invited to my Green Card interview on February 6th, the lady there made a copy of my highschool diploma and then told me that my security check is still pending and that I will get the Green Card sent to me once it is done. but she also said this can take anywhere between 2 days to 6 months.

Anyone experienced something similar? I thought they didn't interview you until you had all your stuff done.

Hi there, I'm assuming you are doing AOS.

There have been many posts on the subject of background check/name check for AOSers. Yes, it is unfortunately very common for a name check to take that long, and you should keep a very close eye on its progress.
Wait a while and if nothing happens begin to contact the appropriate government bodies for help with this issue.
