Interview approved on 10/7. No status update/ No card production

Hello members,

My marriage based interview was approved without any problem on 10/7/2010. The interviewer told me that I should be receiving the card as soon as 10 business day. I know the time hasn't passed much, but I am not seeing any status update or card production notification from the USCIS website. Should I contact USCIS?

The reason I am in a hurry is because I am planning to join US Army. Should I make an Infopass appointment?

hey Zinmask,

Congratulate on being approved !!! just to let you know that verbal approve does not mean anything.... the reason i am saying this is because i had read in the previous thread that the couple got approved and didnt got anything in the mail. after 90 days they made a infopass for i551 stamp but they told him that the IO had not approved it. I hope you dont have the same situation.
 
It was an verbal approval. I asked if I get any stamps on my passport, but he told me that they don't give out the stamps anymore because of some reason I didn't understand. I should make an InfoPass appointment and check it out.

Have you ever got any citation in the past like DUI or got arrested coz the IO in my interview told me that he is gonna do a background check if everything comes out good i can expect the green card within 90 days.
 
hey,I wish you well.You have gotten approved so i dont see any problem.Cna you tell us about your interview experience?how did it go?what kind of questions did they ask?
