Hi, all:

just found out that the medical examination expires after 12 months. I understand that the safest bet is redo the medical for the interview, but is it neccessary? I remember a couple of posters said that the officer did not even bother to look the medical, could anyone comment on this? I wonder if I skip re-doing the medical?

many thanks!

Redo the medical if the Interview letter explicitly asks you for it. If it says bring medical if not submitted before, then there is no need to do medical again.

I too agree with toughdba. If you redo medical it would cost you close to $400. For me BCIS asked medical and the Immigration officer looked at my I-693 form. Incase if they ask you during interview you can send them later.

fromhyd, thanks!

Hi, Fromhyd:

very much appreciated your reply. I have a few other questions regarding the interview, and certainly would love to hear your comments.
