Interview and co-sponsor!!

hello everyone,
My interview is coming up..i had a co-sponsor when i filled out the affidavit form. My co-sponsor lives in different State and i live in different state.My question is..when i go for an interview ,do i need his original us passport? his original paycheck? or whatever.....i was thinking of taking the copies that he sent me when i first applied. thanks in advance.

We did not need the originals - make sure you have copies of his/her passport or birth certificate and the paycheck. We actually took copies of the last 3 years of tax returns and W2's for the person also and the officer took all these(I would advise you have these also).

Note that while we did have the originals there, we were never asked for it. However, of course, every officer is different, but I do not think they can reasonably require you to have the person's passport. Just explain that they live far away - you should be OK.
