Interview and ceremony letter

I had an interview at the Sacramento office on 9th April. I was asked 6 questions and got all 6 correct. After that, the IO stopped asking questions saying that I got 100% on the test. I was also given the form on which he marked "Congratulations" and all that. However, I did not get the oath letter the same day. I was told to wait for 30 days to get the ceremony letter.

Do you have any idea as to why did not I get the oath letter right away? I see from other postings here that the Sacramento office gives out the oath letter right after the interview.

Many reasons, they didn't feel like it, there were no open dates in the near future, your interview was schedualed too early (like mine was), etc.

They don't have to give you a same day one at all, that's just a bonus if they do. Always expect the letter in the mail and if you get the same day one, it's kind of like winning a good sum of money in the lottery...
