Does anyone know that if asylees are qualified for internships.. Im a university student trying to get internship at Government Agencies.. It says US citizens and PRs only... will they regard asylees as PRs?

For a lot of purposes asylees are treated the same as LPRS. But asylees are NOT "permanantly resided here." The proper term is "indefinite stay" until conditions in the home country improves. I believe you understand the difference between Permanent and indefinite stays. Anyway...asylees and LPRs qualify (remember the keyword is "qualify" but they actually prefer LPRs because of their stable status) for most internships in the private and corporate sector but not for most Federal government internships.
