Internship on H4

My wife is in her last semester of MS degree in US. She is on H4 and has applied to many companies for internship. Looks like she will get selected in some of them.
Can she work as an intern on H4?
She is willing to do this as an unpaid internship / unpaid training.
Is it possible?
Thanks

Hey Napoleon, an unpaid internship while on H-4 status may not go down too well with the USCIS and they may have questions later. Its only work that you do as a volunteer while on H-4 status that doesn't raise eyebrows. I don't think its a great idea for your wife to take up this intership while on H-4 status.

Napolean,

Your wife can do voluntary/unpaid internship for a non-profit organization on an H4. But she cannot do an unpaid internship for any for-profit company, because corporates generally pay for their interns. The reasoning is that on an H4, you should not take up any internship or work, that would be a paid position if you had the work authorization.
