International Travel during/after transfer of H1B to new employer.

I am presently working in US on H1B sponsered by employer A. I have received an offer from other employer B. But I need to travel back to my home country by end of Feb 08. If I premium file the transfer of H1B from A to B I hope I will receive the new I-797 by mid-February. After having a new I-797 is it possible to leave US and then join the new employer by mid-march 08? Is it leagally possible for me to enter US with new I-797?

If you want to start with the new employer after your vacation, then yes that's possible. In case the current visa expired, you need to get the new H-1B stamped at a consulate in your home country. Otherwise, obtain a new I-94 during re-entry as per the new I-797 approval notice.
