Interm EAD ppl, plz share ur Exp.

Did u get Interm EAD recently? would you like to share ur exp. about docs Org/copies were asked and other thing you would like to mention.

I know you applied your EAD sometime in Dec. You didn't get your EAD yet?
I applied my last EAD on Feb 16 and got the EAD card on Mar first week. I never got any interim EAD from local office so far.
 
My second EAD application was pending for more than 90 days, so I went to the local office on Nov 10, 2004 with my old EAD and the EAD receipt notice and told the officer that it has been more than 90 days then he told me that he will give me an interim EAD.

They have taken my photograph and fingerprint and gave me an EAD for 8 months.
Then my actual application got transfered to the local office as my I-485 is also transfered to local office. Last week Mar 14, 2005 I got a letter from the local office that my EAD has been approved and I need go and collect it. Which I did last wednesday Mar 16, 2005.

Again they took a photograph of mine and fingerprint and gave me an EAD for the rest of the 4 months.

Please keep in mind. Usually when they issue the actual EAD they issue from today's date. But sometimes the valid FROM date start from the end date of interim EAD. In this case hold on to the interim EAD. Do not turn it in.

Doc's
1. EAD receipt notice
2. Old EAD(or if you do not have an EAD, take any other Photo ID)

EAD's are done ONLY on WEDNESDAYS.

Thanks for sharing info and Exp, I filed on Dec 2004, and no approval yet, got infopass to go local office.

I was in impression that they may ask 485 org receipt. that I would need to collect from att office.

I appreciate u list the doc.

I would take with me.
