Interim EAD - Your help required

Dear Guru:

I'm on EAD. My first EAD is getting expire on Jan 15, 2005. I have applied for 2nd EAD on Oct 9, 2004. If I have not get it before expired. I am new to Infopass and Interim EAD.

Please share your knowledge and help me:

1. How can I apply for Interim EAD?
2. What is the process to get an Interim EAD?
3. Is it appointment necessary? If yes, Do I need to take appointments for both ( me and my wife )?
4. Can I get EAD for me and my wife at the same time?

3. Is it appointment necessary? If yes, Do I need to take appointments for both ( me and my wife )? ------- Depends on the local office
4. Can I get EAD for me and my wife at the same time? ---------YES, as long as it has been > 90 days since you applied

Dear hathwar

We just got EAD approvals. But On my new EAD msg saying that "fingure prints not available".


We have finished our first FP on May 2004. What should I do?

The fingerprints on your EAD are not the same as the fingerprints taken for your I-485. The only time fingerprints will appear on an EAD is when you Efile the EAD. (They take your print, one finger, when you appear at the ASC for photos and printing for the eEAD).

Don't sweat it....
