Me and Wife filed EAD renewal together. We got notice for me but not for my wife. My EAD renewal receipt is 11/26/03.
After waiting for two weeks contacted attorney. Attorney came back after 1.5 months with the receipt #. Called USCIS Cust. rep and requested for receipt notice and here I am with no receipt notice for my wife. As per my attorney there were a few cases in November with no receipt notices received by filers.
As per my attorney, since we have receipt # for my wife, we can go to local USCIS office with case status copy and explain the situation and we should be granted iEAD.
But I was curious if anyone had a similar experience and would want to know if my attorney is right or wrong.

1st EAD expiring 2/19/04
