Does anyone know if it is mandatory to apply for interim EAD in your local office?
We live in Chicago with a pending employment based I-485 for my wife (she is a derivative applicant) at NSC - My wife will be using interim EAD for a summer internship in New York in 3 months - in case she hasn't received an EAD (we applied for renewal 1 week back) by the time she starts, can she invoke the 90 day rule and apply for interim EAD in the New York city office?
Also does anyone know what are the conditions where supporting documentation has to be necessarily sent in the case of an e-filed EAD, vs. where its an option?
