Interim EAD - Immediate help

Have you filed your renewal application? There is no interim ead nowadays.

I'm was in the same boat as you, it took me 6 month!! if you filed your renewal, which office did you send it to? is it pending now? how many days? I will let you know what I did step by step and I hope it will work for you as it did for me.
 
EAD expiring in one week and still waiting

I am in the same boat as you. My EAD expires on 1/12/07. My EAD was approved on Nov 9 and I recd the cards but with wrong dates. I sent them back for correction and till date still waiting, NO LUD too. I sent 2 expedite fax to VSC but no action. My case was filed by my company attorney on behalf of my HR dept. I am worried too, what my company will do if I dont have EAD on time. I wist interim EAD existed. I will keep you posted.

Any idea, what time the LUD changes on the online case status system??

your company should understand that is not your fault, or you think they will not?
about the LUD times online, it vary from time to time, but in most cases(90 % of the times) it happens after business hours, the system runs a batch and start updating the dates, sometimes the messages and also the voice message that you hear when you call the 800 # to inquire about your case status.
If I was in your place, I would talk to my company and see how they will react, they will not be at fault any way if they keep you working since it's the uscis fault.
Did you send a copy of the wrong dated EAD with your request?

Hi hosammny,

my company HR will understand the issue but not the dept that I work ( in simple my managers). since lot of new work is pending and abut to kick off as the new year started. I sent the original EAD card that had the wrong dates. Just as me and attorney, my HR dept is keeping the fingers crossed 4 now. We will discuss sometime nextweek if there is no progress on the EAD. Thnx.
 
Try Express Mail (USPS)

You should send them a letter(mail) try to use an express delivery, like next day mail($15.00). That will assure them how Anxious you are, and how important is the new card for you, explian clearly how this Situation effects your job and what might be the Consequences(loss of job), make it bold and clear but yet polite.
